"Hard Work Pays Off... Chosen To Represent Australia!"

Kieran only started rowing 4 years ago during his HSC at school.  After much determination and hard work Kieran has been selected in his first National Team representing Australia.

James first represented Australia at the World Rowing Junior Championships in 2004, since then he has competed Internationally in three Australian Senior Teams.

At 21, this is James's first opportunity to win a World Rowing Under 23 Gold Medal.

Kieran's enthusiasm paired with James's experience and knowledge will hopefully give the boys the edge they need for competing against the world's best!

The World Rowing Under 23 Championships takes place 17-20 July in Brandenburg, Germany.

A note from Kieran's mum....

"Hard Work Pays Off... Chosen To Represent Australia!"

Hi Gaida,

Thanks for doing this for us.

Kieran Kobelke has been rowing and racing with the very supportive Mosman Rowing Club for 4 years and this year his early mornings and hours of hard work on the water, in the gym and running or bike riding have paid off.

He is to represent Australia in the double skull with James Gatti.

They are both training hard in Western Australia at the moment but will soon leave for the  World Rowing Under 23 Championships. Because they are training so hard they are limited in the amount of work they do so need help with either fundraising or  long or short term sponsorship as this is just the beginning of their long term goals with rowing.

Check the Mosman Rowing Club website for more info.

Thanks again,
Lenja Kobelke
