Are you going to join in and be part of Earth Hour 2008?

Earth Hour will go global today – 29 March this year, with major cities around the world pledging to join Sydney and switch off their lights at 8.00pm.

Just imagine….2007 Earth Hour campaign led by WWF-Australia and supported the City of Sydney and The Sydney Morning Herald, saw more than two million people switch off their lights for one hour.

So grab those torches & turn out your lights at 8pm….

As of 18 March, over 9000 businesses and 136,000 individuals had indicated their intention to participate at earthhour.org. 

I also found out that my internet provider flicked the switch as my internet connection dropped out for over an hour!…Wasn’t counting on that one!
