Look Good Feel Better
I was reminded today about a very special program….Look Good Feel Better which is an initiative of the Cosmetics Industry Association.
Many volunteers run hundreds of workshops at hospitals around Australia for women affected by cancer, giving help and advice on how to look good and feel better!
Your role as a volunteer will be to teach women hands-on-beauty techniques to help restore their appearance and self image during these workshops.
You’ll find practical tips on their site about makeup & hair loss and information about their Women’s program as well as their Teen program for teenage boys & girls.
These Look Good Feel Better workshops are a special time of nurturing and to learn how to cope with the appearance related side effects of cancer treatment.
