The Manly Arts Festival 2008 will be in full swing from 12 – 28 September 2008 which celebrates our creative diversity and our passion for art in all its forms. Manly Council is continually striving  to create affordable and accessible opportunities for participation in the creative arts.

Manly Arts Festival began in 1994 and has since grown into one of the State’s leading community-based arts festivals.  The strength of the Festival lies in its diversity, featuring visual art exhibitions, music, workshops, youth and kids events, theatre, performance and literary events.

The 2008 Manly Arts Festival will be launched at the Manly Art Gallery & Museum, West Esplanade, Manly the heart of arts and culture in Manly on Friday 12 Sept, 6 – 8pm Cost: Free Contact: 9976 1420

A special exhibition at the Gallery, funded by Arts NSW, Bruce Goold – Artist, Designer, Printmaker. Also, the public art project Frameworks will be launched featuring Togetherness, Art for Humanity – diverse artists creating art to bring people together.
