Apprenticeships Australia Employers Incentive $2800.   Are you aware that as an employer you can qualify for payments of $2800 by taking on an apprentice?

As a parent I was definitely interested in the recent Manly Daily article of our local newspaper, in the ‘Give A Kid A Go’ section. This article referred to Apprenticeships deal for employers which are worth up to $2800.

Taking up an Apprenticeship also has it’s advantages for our kids taking up these opportunities and gives them trade skills which are in need around the country.

People undertaking an apprenticeship in an occupation where there is a shortage of skilled workers may continue to be eligible to receive personal benefits such as the Living Away From Home Bonus, Commonwealth Trade Learning Scholarship and the Australian Wages Top-Up or Support for Mid-Career Apprentices.

From January 1, 2010, the Apprentice Wage Top-up, the Commonwealth Trade Learning Scholarship and the Tools For Your Trade voucher will be combined under the Tools For Your Trade payment.  Australian Apprentices contact your Australian Apprenticeship Centre closer to Jan 1, 2010 to discuss continuing eligibility.
