2nd Show for Powderfinger/Silverchair announced.

Tickets have been snapped up by music fans to see Australian rock bands Powderfinger and Silverchair on their joint national tour.  Shows sold out in 30 minutes for the 
Across the Great Divide Tour, which begins in late August.

If you’re one of the many disappointed fans… do not despair…..Promoters have announced second shows in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Wollongong, Newcastle and Perth to meet the high demand.

The Across the Great Divide Tour will see two of the country’s most successful bands play venues in every capital city and 14 regional centres – in a massive big-top tent where venues aren’t big enough.

The tour kicks off in Silverchair’s hometown of Newcastle on August 29 and then Powderfinger’s Brisbane backyard on August 31, before hitting cities including Darwin and Cairns and regional centres including Mildura, Toowoomba and Bendigo.

Keep your ears open because Powderfinger’s new single, I Don’t Remember, is debuting on Australian radio with their album Dream Days At The Hotel Existence, sitting at number five on the Australian albums chart.

If you haven’t heard…..Reflections of a Sound, the second single from Silverchair’s album Young Modern, will be released digitally on Saturday.
